UPDATE #1: Today is now January the 2nd and Club Penguin has still not updated! They are now 2 days late!

Today, Friday, January 1st, there's supposed to be a new new pin, new clothing catalog, and fireworks at the Ice Berg, but nothing has arrive. Sometimes Club Penguin does get very delayed, but never this late!
And a lot more people are online today because on Disney's website, their theme is Card-Jitsu Fire.
I wanted to find out why this is happening so we went to call Club Penguin, and THEIR SUPPORT HOT LINE WAS CLOSED! Can you believe it, can things get any worse?
It seems as if Club Penguin is getting more inconvenient day after day. Just like the time when I called Club Penguin and discovered their "unique" customer service. Click Here to watch the video and understand what I'm talking about.
Though, I do have couple of predictions for why this is happening.
1. The Club Penguin team might be having a day off (because of New Years) and will not update today.
2. Club Penguin might be uploading the new mission... but I doubt it.
3. Their server's aren't working because the year has changed.
That's all I got. Do you have any ideas on why Club Penguin isn't updating? Leave a comment with your answer!

maybe its not updating because theres a glitch or because you might have to wait till tomorrow because they know that family won't want them on the computer and so they had it posponed

I doubt it's because of them taking off for the holiday, cause they were the ones who picked the date. That's a good point about the new year tho, maybe that screwed up their computers!

i think cp isnt updating cuz so many ppl r on cp and they might not be able to get on cuz of all the ppl. we need everyone to get off cp for a while and maybe it will update! but no one will listen!

ReplyDeleteSo lately clubpenguin has been "slacking" I think they haven't delivered the entertainment that all these kids are looking for,and the sad thing is is that these kids don't understand that clubpenguin is turning into a money making site if you noticed they have all these new toys out,but what about the actually site itself isnt that what were paying for! i'm a member of Clubpenguin and ive been one for years ,so this is just my personal opinion not to be taken in as an offense. So I think they have been lazy.

ReplyDeletei agree with the "slaking" comment. there have been more cp products out to buy. you may also notice that club penguin doesnt seem to be spending enough time on the new things that have been coming up (plays, events, etc.) other than the norman swarm play, they have been replaying lots of the old plays, and the events are very similar to past years. it seems cp spends more time on their products than the actual website. pleez understand that this is just my opinion and you may not agree with it. i just would like to share what i think.

ReplyDeletehonest i think it's because they either have it set for automatic updates when they are gone and something just didn't set right or just they are having problumes with the site and so many penguins are on so now if they wanted to push the update everyone would have to be shut out. so yeah...

When i sended an email to fan mail and support i got the same answers. support said the team is on a day off. and fan mail said that the team too is on break. My grandpa works as a club penguin team member he takes care of almost everything lol! when i talked to him he said that the team is on break and they might put the new catalog tonight. see ya later cena!
ReplyDeletei saw it too i tried to use my penguins many times but no fireworks and pin still in attic. i thought that there would be fireworks on late evening but im not sure if its all day. like the other anonymous i also agree there would be a glitch and wait till tomorrow. we could have been really sure it will be delayed if cp announced that they would have a delay about all the new stuff that should be here today
